I first started using this app in 2021 and really enjoyed it. Recently, the functionality has changed drastically and I don't like the changes. The update rearranged my source list and won't allow me to change it. The number of ads has increased significantly and becomes rather annoying. The app fails to load at least 30% of the time. Perhaps the most annoying issue is that when I click on a new article, it loads the previous one and I have to back out and reselect the article I want to read.

Don't bother attempting to navigate this once outstanding app on your phone. It freezes and you can't move forward between news stations, or move back to stories, or even exit altogether. There are also no techies around to help fix things. Someone needs to configure the new screen layout so the excellent content and writers can again be more easily available and accessible to readers.

I understand the need for ads, fine. But when you open an article and an ad pops up, once you get out of the ad, the app returns the previously read article, not the article you're trying to read. You have to back out of the old article and re-open the article you're trying to read. Very annoying. Might as well go straight to the web sites in lieu of using the app.
